With the intention of offering ancient knowledge for deployment in new research – and passing it on to future generations – the Manuscript Library features manuscripts catering to readers and researchers.

The collection includes materials spanning topics such as history, geography, literature, medicine, astronomy, logic, music, and Islamic sciences. In addition, manuscripts are dated via assessments conducted in the Library’s biology and chemistry laboratories, where conservation and restoration processes are also carried out.
